Wednesday, September 7
        Compositions: Poetry in oil -  6 - 8pm.  Art reception and show by Hillary Havlik, a University of Wyoming student.

Thursday, September 8
        Book Arts Opening and Reception - 6 - 8pm. Works of Wyoming is proud to present the opening for its first Book Arts show. Be sure to join us for a light snack and beautiful books made by Wyoming Artists. The opening will be held Thursday, September 8, from 6pm – 8pm and the work will be up through September 29th.
        Downtown Fashion Show - Downtown Laramie is excited to celebrate Fashions Night Laramie - an event to support downtown retailers. Participating merchants throughout downtown will host special events in their stores between 6:00 pm - 9 pm on Thursday, September 8th. Shoppers are encouraged to attend in fashionable attire. Please come out and support this event September 8th! If you have any questions about this event please contact Eileen Byrd, Byrd’s Paradise, at 742-2973 for more information.  WOW Member Bethel Anthony and WOW Friend, Susan Soderberg will be showing their work at Byrd’s Paradise!
        Art Talk with Margo Grant Walsh - 7pm.  An artists lecture hosted by the University of Wyoming Art Museum.  Margo Grant Walsh is the collector behind "Silver and Metalwork of the 20th Century.

        Gallery Walk Through with Margo Grant Walsh - 4:30pm
        Opening Reception for Fall Exhibitions - 6 - 8pm. Come celebrate the opening of our fall exhibitions. They include "Talismans of Protection from Chosŏn Korea: Antique Locks, Latches, and Key Charms," "Donovan Widmer: Small Metals," "300 Years of British Silver," "Silver & Metalwork of the 20th Century: The Margo Grant Walsh Collection" and "The West of Eliot Porter: Images of Colorado, New Mexico, and Utah."
